A practical grounding in AI and agentic commerce for senior banking executives

IndustryPayments and banking
ServiceExecutive education

// Introduction

A global payments leader wanted senior banking executives to understand AI in practical terms and apply it to banking strategy and collaboration with FinTechs. Ewan and the team designed a three-day executive immersion programme.

01

Challenge

The executives were facing decisions on digital banking strategy, investment and partnerships with FinTech firms. They needed an understanding of AI that they could apply directly to those decisions, and a general briefing on the technology would not have been enough. Agentic commerce, in which AI agents search, choose and pay on a customer's behalf, added a further set of questions for anyone working in payments and banking.

02

What we did

The team designed a three-day programme covering AI in banking, collaboration with FinTechs, and agentic commerce. Hands-on workshops and design sprints ran alongside the taught content, so participants applied the material themselves during the programme.

03

Outcome

Participants left with practical AI frameworks and strategic tools for digital banking, and were better prepared to make informed investment and partnership decisions.
